The Hebden Bridge Pumpkin Trail (previously The Great Pumpkin Festival) was established in 2017

by Sand In Your Eye and Hebden Royd Town Council.

 

Originally created to included Hebden Bridge local businesses, schools, artists, community groups and families.

 

First of all we offered pumpkin carving workshops to business owners to pass on some of the tricks of the trade so they could create their own fabulous displays. In Hebden Bridge we are very lucky to have a community where people like to get involved in something different. The talented team then set to work on a series of pumpkins displays which would pop up around Hebden.

 

The trail gained media attention on the run up from BBC Breakfast,  Look North as well as lots of local and national press coverage.

Year on year the trail has been a highlight in the Hebden Bridge calendar. It is now a full weekend event with themed displays, workshops and competitions which continue to engage and delight Hebden locals and visitors alike.
